- Egg
- Coconut Oil
Equipment:
- Mixing bowl

Method:
Mix equal quantities of milk powder and gluten free flour in a separate bowl - the quantity required will vary depending on the size tin of fish/baby food etc that you use.

In a mixing bowl add the full contents of your selected food (this was salmon – include the oil if you are using a fish based product), egg and coconut oil. If you are using fish add 1 tablespoon of oil, if you are using something without an oily base use 2 tablespoons of oil.
Mix all ingredients (selected food, oil and egg) together well.

Now add the flour mixture (or watery mashed potato) in bit by bit – mix until you have a “mashed potato consistency”.
Add this mixture to the microwave safe dish – spread out so is about 1cm or less high.
There is no need to grease this dish as the coconut oil and oil in the fish will prevent sticking.

Microwave for a total of 6 minutes on high – stop and check it every 2 minutes. When it is coming away from the sides of the dish the treats are ready.
Whilst it is in the microwave give your dog the goopy bowl & spoon to clean – yummy!
Remove carefully from the microwave and flip onto a board.
Allow to cool and chop into fingernail sized pieces.
These will last in the fridge for a few days, otherwise store in the freezer and defrost as required.
