Virtual - Training with multiple dogs

Can't make it to class?  Join an online class with others pups and their people

Next Starting Date:  Planned for 9am 27th September 2025
Taking interest for future courses. Apply below.

This virtual course delivered via Zoom is designed for those that live with multiple dogs and struggle to train them together.

It is great for those that want to have some fun with their dogs, live remotely or have pooches that find the outdoor world or class scenario overwhelming.

During the 6 week course we will cover station/mat training, games to create engagement and various exercises for individuals as well as teaching the dogs to comfortably wait their turn.
Each lesson will be 45-60 minutes.

We will play focus games and implement skills especially useful for the multiple dog household.

During the process we will have lots of fun, practice calm behaviours and high arousal behaviours and switching between the two.

Playing confidence building games and impulse control games will help your dogs to make better choices.

Throughout the 6 week course you can choose your location for training.  To begin with I would start in low arousal and distraction areas, but with time you will be able to move this to more distracting locations.

There is no age limit for this course.  Course cost is very affordable at $150 for 6 weeks.

What will you need?
  • 2 or more dogs
  • Internet access - wifi or phone - if you want to take it on the road - a phone plan capable of doing zoom on the run.
  • A platform that you can use to view the class and also allows video for me to see you .
  • Markers - we will go over this on the first week.
  • Raised bed/mat (5-10cm etc), or bed with sides for each dog
  • Collar/Harness
  • Safe space
  • Standard leash
  • Long lasting chews/stuffed enrichment toy for each class (if your dog needs some down time)
  • KMart stepping stones (5 pack for $18 at 6/1/25) - or something similar - need to be able to support the two front feet of your dog and not be too tall (for short dogs), stable and non slip.   An upturned dog bowl with rubber base etc is good too.  Need to have one platform for each dog.
  • Hurdle set (doesn't need to be fancy) - a broom and 2 bricks will work
  • 2 cones - tall so your dog cannot step on them
  • Treat pouch
  • Lots of very small but high value rewards.
